The white wine »Alte Reben« Leiwen Riesling, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Carl Loewen has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Just barely peeking into the off-dry range this year is the "Old Vines". Discreet on the nose with notes of apple and anise, the wine remains sensory, on the palate thanks to the piquant opposing acidity it is harmoniously dry. Much Moselle typicality!
