The white wine »Alte Reben« Riesling halbtrocken, vintage 2024 from the winery Weingut Carl Loewen has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Spice opens the nose, with saffron, turmeric, wet stone, yellow apple, apricot, blood orange and meadow herbs. On the palate, a fine interplay of sweetness and acidity with animating fruit and mineral savouriness. Lean, has good extract, beautiful length and is a pleasure to drink.
