Dense aroma, fine smoke, pears and stewed apples, ginger, lemon zest, white grapefruit. On the palate with present acidity to the clear fruit and fine sweetness, again apple, pear, fine spice, cinnamon stick, juicy, mouthwatering and animating as well as versatile at the table.
More about the tastingRelatively deep in colour. On the nose, notes of pear juice, stewed apples and a hint of caramel. Full-bodied on the palate, with hearty acidity, medium intensity and length of fruit, but with crisp Rheingau acidity, good freshness and tension.
