The white wine Niederhausen Hermannshöhle Riesling Auslese, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Dönnhoff has been rated in 2018 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Nahe in Germany.
An impressive, multi-layered nose with mineral traits - the slate comes through, as well as dried fruits. Extremely compact and firm on the balanced palate. Sweetness and acidity are on display, but the really great dialogue is still to come. It is impressive now, but will be really great.
