Tasting Notes
Smoky and yeasty on the nose, with subtle Burgundy variety with berry tones, redcurrant and a fairly slender Pinot Gris nose. On the palate, the wine also emphasises freshness and a taut acidity, but without lacking the suppleness typical of the variety. Clearly underpinned by tactile minerality, this is a top-class Ortswein wine that already comes very close to a single-vineyard type.
