Aromatic, finely spiced, red apples, pear, almonds, hazelnuts, some quince, a touch of vanilla and a hint of smoke, some notes of ground stone. A fine, ripe acidity on the palate, grippy with polished phenolics, lots of good tension, dense and compact, elegant, with excellent length.
More about the tastingThe aroma shows a subtle honey note, ripe nuances of blood orange, blueberry and baked Hokkaido pumpkin. On the palate, texture and acidity nerve develop powerful tension, this still seems closed and has almost the ageing potential of a GG.
