The white wine »Monkytonk« halbtrocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Dr. Heigel has been rated in 2019 with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Müller-Thurgau, Kerner from the region Franconia in Germany.
Pear and sweet apple on the nose, with some liquorice and mango too. Bright fruit again shows on the palate, with a repeat of pear, peach and elderberry, all backed by a well-integrated acidity. A palatable wine with medium structure and length.
