The white wine »Kalkstein« Nierstein Weißburgunder trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Eckehart und Johannes Gröhl has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Initially floral on the nose with aromas of violets, sweet peach, ripe pear and raw almond, with some sweet pineapple and rocky notes. These aromas are supported by good acidity on the palate which has plenty of texture and a harmonious finish. Already well set for drinking.
