The white wine Sauvignon "Stein" DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Eichenstein has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright, sparkling greenish yellow. Clear and present nose, shows fresh yellow fruit notes of gooseberry and white peach, some elderflower. Good weight on the palate, opens with appealing, crisp fruit, again gooseberry, salty, lots of lemon balm on the finish.
