The white wine Räuschling Schönfels, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Erich Meier has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser, Dominik Vombach, Benajmin Herzog, Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Räuschling from the region Lake Zurich in Switzerland.
Still somewhat restrained on the nose, but after a little time in the glass, aromas of ripe apple and quince, paired with herbal-spicy notes and lemon zest. On the palate, lively acidity, well balanced, a salty mineral note and a lingering finish. This wine was vinified in clay vats (Tonkugel) and comes from the single vineyard Schönfels.
