The white wine Riesling DOC Südtirol Vinschgau, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Falkenstein has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Sparkling, intense straw yellow. Interwoven and dense nose, lots of juicy, yellow vineyard peach, some apricot, some lemon balm in the background. Round and full-bodied on the palate, spreads out with lots of juicy fruit, fine acidity gives the wine tension, a convincing version of Riesling from the southern side of the Alps.
