Tasting Notes
Dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle right rim. Delicately savoury, ripe cherry, plum, a hint of blackberry confit, backed by vanilla and caramel. Complex, substantial, again blackberry and sweet cherry, well-integrated supporting tannins, mineral on the finish, good aging potential.
More about the tastingIt has a dark ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a broad bright rim. There are aromas of black cherry, a hint of blackberry confit, and underlaid with delicate herbal savouriness and fine oak nuances. On the palate it has a medium complexity, fine red wild berry confit, ripe tannins, and a salty minerality on the finish. It is already well-developed, and is a multi-layered food wine.
