Tasting Notes
Noble oak, as well as savoury berries, typical for Spätburgunders, some cassis, dark cherry, ripe fruit, strawberry, mineral undertones. Wide on the palate, lots of drive, substance and texture, grainy but ripe tannins fill the volume, despite a comparatively mild acidity, the wine seems completely balanced. The minerality supports the freshness! A powerful food wine, or in a few years, with fully ripened savouriness, the ideal winter Sunday wine.
