Tasting Notes
It has quite ripe dark fruit on the nose, and also slightly ethereal notes, along with bramble and mulberry aromas. On the palate there is good substance, density, and complexity, with plenty of spiciness, and a supporting acidity that leads into the long finish. It is not lightweight, rather a wine for long winter evenings.
More about the tastingElderberry dominates the nose, pith and berries, plus violets. Smooth drinking flow on the palate, black plum nuances, pronounced fruitiness and lively tannins. Still seems a bit plump and very fruit-centred, but should develop positively.
