The white wine Wintrich Ohligsberg Riesling trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Gehlen-Cornelius has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Peach, apple, blossom honey and slate spice on the nose. The palate reveals a full-bodied Riesling rounded with vivid sweetness, mineral-tinged. Despite the firm acidity, the wine leans more toward the subtle tart notes than the dry flavours. Will certainly age with some exciting spice.
