The red wine Gabarinza, vintage 2011 from the winery Weingut Gernot und Heike Heinrich has been rated in 2013 with 93 - 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Deep dark ruby colour, opaque core, purple reflections, slightly watery rim. Black berry aroma underlaid with fine orange zest and spice, an attractive multi-faceted bouquet. Juicy, elegant, ripe cherry and blackberry, well-integrated tannins, remains very persistent, fine herbal flavour on the finish, it has development potential.
