The white wine Lorcher Kapellenberg, vintage 2009 from the winery Weingut Graf von Kanitz has been rated in 2010 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Strong yellow colour. Rich fruit, fine savouriness, very subtle, discreet minerality, very elegant and natural on the nose. Lots of playfulness and ripe fruit on the palate, enormously juicy and elegant, intensely fruity finish, almost Palatinate-like, balanced and dense, without alcoholic impact. Still up-and-coming and a winner of the vintage. Enormously salty.
