The red wine »Devonschiefer Reserve« Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2014 from the winery Weingut H. J. Kreuzberg has been rated in 2016 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Ahr in Germany.
Fine roasted notes are underpinned by allspice, pepper and juniper, bay leaf and smoked bacon with a timid fruity character. A hearty drink with striking acidity, rough wood finish and a pot of pickled fruit. A lot helps a lot, put it down!
