Singed and peppery slate on the nose, accompanied by the concentrated aromas of forest berries and wild cherry. Initially creamy on the palate but not overly opulent; ripe acidity and sophisticated, finely-grained tannins. Luxuriantly textured and beautifully concentrated, with excellent cellaring potential.
