Tasting Notes
Powerful and dense on the nose, wood savouriness, smoke, ripe pineapple, pear, quince, orange confit, chamomile, wild herbs, iodine notes, oyster shell. Straightforward on the palate, with drive and tension, but also with a creamy base, lots of savouriness, mineral, salty, fine fanning out phenolics, firm acidity, with lots of certain ageing potential.
