The white wine Schieferterrassen Riesling trocken, vintage 1987 from the winery Weingut Heymann-Löwenstein has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Almost undrinkable in its youth due to its bone-dry character and the acidity typical of the vintage, therefore on sale for the first time in March 2018. Piquant, herbal-spicy aroma, slightly tertiary, cardamom, saffron, crisp acidity, robustly full-bodied, phenolics, aromas veering away from fruit and towards savouriness. Distinctive and lively, length through pithiness, bone-dry.
