The red wine NV »Grapes of Glory Rot« from the winery Christian Hirsch Weine e.K. has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Satin Noir, Cabernet Cortis from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Opaque in the glass like a Tempranillo from the Ribera del Duero. On the nose, the Gapes of Glory reveals rather restrained black and red forest fruits, blackberry, elderberry and ethereal notes. On the palate, concentration, alcoholic warmth and slightly astringent tannins are really noticeable. This is a very mature, serious wine without any playful traits. A must with food.
