Tasting Notes
Red cherry and cherry pit on the nose, some hibiscus, smoky notes, dried meat, also black liquorice. A grown-up wine that knows why it can show its antlers. Good substance, with vivid, ripe tannins that still have something up their sleeve. Sensitive use of wood, cultivated acidity, modern style, Swabia meets California.
