The white wine Rauenthal Wülfen Kabinett halbtrocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut H.J. Ernst has been rated in 2021 by Urlich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Herbaceous and citrusy, sorrel, passion fruit, delicately savoury on the nose. At the same time very grapey, aromatic even early on the palate, grape fruit without candy kitsch, plus a polished, juicy acidity, a restrained sweetness and a clear minerality. A rich and elegant Kabinett.
