The rosé Bregenz Spätburgunder Rosé halbtrocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Hornstein has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 89+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Vivid salmon pink in colour. Also pronounced on the nose with ripe aromas of strawberry, red cherry and raspberry, also some cooked strawberry. Not an aperitif refreshment rosé, a full-grown wine with powerful structure and fullness that moves forward and is balanced on the palate. Residual sweetness and vivid acidity understand themselves as a unit, to the food.
