Tasting Notes
It has a medium carmine colour, with purple reflections, and a broad ochre rim. There is a delicately spicy aroma, with a hint of liquorice and dried plum, it is a Piedmontese bouquet, with tobacco and fine oaky notes. It is juicy, with gentle sweet fruit, a ripe plum flavour, a fresh structure, well-integrated tannins, some nougat, good length, and minerality on the finish. It is still very youthful on the palate, and it has certain further ageing potential.
