There are aromas of black cherry and ripe plum, with candied orange zest, a hint of mint, and citrus zest, it is an inviting bouquet. It is juicy, with lovely fruit, ripe cherry, velvety tannins, a pleasant nougat note, some blackberry, and liquorice on the back palate. It is a full-bodied and perfectly ripe food wine with further ageing potential.
