Tasting Notes
Intense fragrance marked by oak aromas, plus lots of ripe dark fruit like blackberry and elderberry and freshly crushed juniper berry. Full-bodied and generous on the palate, with soft tannins without losing the sense of proportion. It has plenty of substance and good length.
More about the tastingClove, bay leaf and cinnamon: currently more wood on the nose than traditional Lemberger. But also cherry stone and marzipan. Powerful body on the palate supported by fruit and soft notes. Compact, rich in content, good fruit on the finish.
