Rich, bright purple with a ruby accent and an impenetrable core. Opens richly with nuances of elderberry, ripe plum, rock candy and juniper berry, plus a hint of black pepper. Powerful on the palate with lots of interwoven tannins, full mouth feel, shows itself to be powerful, lots of substantial structure, long finish.
