The white wine Vom Kalk Chardonnay Südtirol DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Ignaz Niedrist has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright straw yellow. A nose of wet stone and light fumé, delicate yellow fruit, reminiscent of mango, not overloaded, elegant and delicate. Very juicy and very clear on the palate, shows pronounced fruit aromas, with elegant, pleasantly integrated oak, soft and creamy, full of finesse and long, salty finish.
