The red wine »Muschelkalk« Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut J. Neus has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Still reductive on the nose with lots of yeast and aromas from the dark area, needs air. On the palate, the wine is already further along with traction and freshness, clear cherry notes and a ripe but pleasurable acidity, animated and at the same time serious with a chalky-mineral timbre.
