The white wine Chardonnay, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Johann August Sack has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Baden in Germany.
Initially, the nose is still very yeasty, followed by aromas such as mandarin, then earthy, iodine and chalky aromas. The palate has an almost oily base, showing unusually intense, fruit-driven aromas, but also a powerful phenolic character that contrasts with the mellowness. Very individual - be sure to give it plenty of air!
