The white wine »Biffar« Brut, vintage 2011 from the winery Weingut Josef Biffar has been rated in 2018 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Weißburgunder, Riesling, Chardonnay, Grauburgunder from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Initially almost closed on the nose, initially buttery on contact with air, then with an increasingly strong flavour of rock flour. Some sweetness on the palate at the start, ripe acidity and fine tactile minerality. Good volume in the mousse, elaborate flint wine.
