An opulent aroma: bread crust, smoke, lychee, fully ripe mango, and lactic undertones. The palate is leaner than the nose suggests, still showing some carbon dioxide, a good extract with a vivacious acidity and rather defensive sweetness, which nevertheless gives the wine its length.
