Ruby red in colour. An attractive nose shows elegant berry fruit, cherries and a herbal savouriness with a hint of white pepper. Blackberry and blackcurrant to the fore on the palate along with a subtle smoky note. Ripe tannins and no little density is balanced by fine acidity very well indeed.
