The red wine »vom Landschneckenkalk« Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Katrin Wind has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
On the nose smoky yeasty notes, sour cherry, some yeast. On the palate the wine exudes great elegance, the grippy tannin is vivid in medium density, perfectly suited to the juicy structure, a firm acidity and chalky mineral notes carry into the long finish.
