The red wine »Johann Maximilian« Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2011 from the winery Weingut Kaufmann has been rated in 2014 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Tart, dark aromas, nougat, preserved cherries, vanilla and cedar wood. A grippy structure is dominated by woody notes and dense tannins, sour cherry, licorice, finish reminiscent of men's chocolate and some sage. It should be allowed to age.
