The red wine Hallgarten Pinot Noir, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Kaufmann has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Fresh and savoury aromas, mint, eucalyptus, wild berries, sour cherries, dried leaves, liquorice, chocolate nougat, subtle peppery notes. Very elegant on the palate, silky tannins, a discreet acidity, fresh red fruit, raspberries, sour cherries, finely spiced, seamless and tightly knit, beautiful length, drinking wonderfully now and can age longer.
