Ripe plum flanked by wood savouriness show on the nose. Clove, red and dark cherries, some rum-steeped fruit, foliage, some underbrush and ink. On the palate the richness and substance is carried by a vivid acidity, fine spice, medium extract, the tannins are ripe and accessible, good length, balanced character.
