The red wine »Henrie« Heilbronn Merlot trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Kistenmacher & Hengerer has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Aromas of ripe plum, mulberry, blackberry and sweet cherry on the nose, with some delicate smoke and chamomile too. On the palate rich, dense tannins and a powerful, restrained acidity provide the structure over which dark chocolate and plum are laid. It's full bodied, with a subtle bitterness and lots of power. Good length, and plenty of further maturity to come.
