On the nose, there are notes of wood, chocolate and sour cherry; on the palate, the tannins are somewhat tamer than one would expect from the aroma, with juicy fruit dominating the presentation, ripe acidity and subtle mineral notes enlivening the overall powerful structure. Good freshness and certain ageing potential.
