Purple coloured in the glass. Blueberry, black cherries, vanilla, clove and some white pepper show on the nose. Initially juicy and fresh on the palate, it's almost slender on the attack although there is a lot of extract. Blackcurrant and sweet cherries are to the fore, with fleshy and intensely mineral tannins creating a supple base and the lively acidity length on the palate. Excellent ageing potential.
