The white wine Graubrugunder trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Knipser has been rated in 2018 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Still quite closed on the nose, but recognisable, pure Pinot berry aromas, hints of yeast and limestone. Supple, broad and full-bodied on the palate, with well-integrated, ripe acidity. A Pinot Gris without bold tones, that requires two years of ageing and a large glass.
