The white wine Chardonnay *** trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Knipser has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Subtle wood, smoky yeast and closed leafy green notes. The palate shows the warmth of the year with richness and sweetness, texture and phenolics are not yet seamlessly fused at this stage, but they show potential to mature towards round fullness.
