The smoky note promised on the label is not missing in the glass. Behind it is an aromatic, ripe Chardonnay with notes of fresh vegetable corn, butter and vineyard peach. On the palate, this is an archetypically supple Burgundy varietal, textured by fine phenolics. Stylish! And gastronomic.
