The white wine Oberberg Sauvignon Südtirol DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Kornell has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright, lustrous straw yellow with a sparkling core. On the nose there are intense notes of citrus fruit, lots of grapefruit, lime, delicate white blossom and a certain saltiness. On the palate it is balanced and very juicy, showing its cool side, dense yet crystalline and light-footed, harmonious and with a loose texture, brisk and long.
