Declared as a Baden Landwein this bottle shows fine smoke, apple, pear, some walnut and bay leaf on the nose. It's slender and taut on the palate with little palate fruit, but plenty of salty notes and some green walnut. Puristic and demanding, almost austere, a bold interpretation of Chasselas.
