Tasting Notes
Deep carmine-garnet colour with light ochre reflections and a broad rim brightening. Dark berry jam and nuances of blackberry jelly mix with a hint of pickled cherries, candied orange zest and a fine nougat touch. Medium complexity on the palate which shows a fine extract sweetness that's elegant and juicy. Integrated tannins provide support through to the mineral and fig-scented finish, which shows a surprising freshness and youthfulness. This has developed beautifully over the years and has further ageing potential. (Drink).
