The white wine Rüdesheim Berg Rottland Riesling GG, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Künstler has been rated in 2017 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
The nose is restrained, stony and austere, and with only hints of fruit. On the palate it is again still closed and unapproachable one suspects. It has a firm and powerful character with a close-knit texture, taut tannins on a background of marble minerality. The current rating, however, also positively includes definite ageing potential.
