The white wine »Grand Reserve« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Künstler has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Rheingau in Germany.
A fragrant nose of white flowers, apple blossom, apple and yellow stone fruit, mixed with apricot, Mirabelle plum and tangerine peel. In the background, herbal notes, lemon balm, some aniseed, flax and fine smoke also emerge. Juicy and supple on the palate with a refined texture, it's well-built, full-bodied and with good density thanks to a core of fine extract sweetness. The ripe acidity and mineral notes are harmonious and give good length.
